Adam Goldstein, better known as DJ AM, is a Philadelphia born disc jockey and has made his name famous for spinning records as well as some up and downs in his life that have made the news.

Born March 30, 1973, DJ AM has had his share of being the star of the show especially in his rock band Crazy Town, playing at private events for well-known celebs and scratching on various artist’s high profile albums of those such as Madonna and Will Smith.

Sin City regular, DJ AM owns popular night club LAX and has a one-year contract to play at Pure Nightclub every Friday.

Gastric bypass surgery and a broken engagement to socialite Nicole Richie are just a few of the headliners that made it into the celebrity news world. Most recently, DJ AM was involved in a plane crash during takeoff in South Carolina that seriously injured him and frequent collaborator Travis Barker while killing four others. The crash left him badly burnt on his hands and part of his head.
