Born into a large Italian family on July 11, 1989, David Henrie caught the performing bug at an early age. It was easy to get overlooked in such a large family, thus David made sure he stood out by keeping everyone entertained as much as possible. Although born in Orange County, his family moved to Arizona when he was two. David started coming back to California at age 10 for acting and he finally moved around age 13 when he landed his first series. After impressing the Disney powers-that-be with his work on "That's So Raven," his character Larry became a recurring role. A number of feature and television work followed. Finally, he found a breakthrough role in Disney's "Wizards of Waverly Place" alongside the equally emerging talent, Selena Gomez. David has proven his range by always delivering standout performances in everything from quirky comedies to dramas.
Not one to settle with simply being in front of the camera, David is hard at work as a writer, director, and producer. He has his own production company and is sharing his success by providing outlets for young, aspiring filmmakers from across the country to showcase their work. David's sure to find a following in whatever aspect of the industry he dips his talents in and we're definitely going to keep an eye on him.
David was named one of TV Guide's top 13 young actors to watch.
He was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in both a TV series and a feature film in the same year.
David is also a competitive hockey player.
