Most actors spend years struggling before landing a major role, but that wasn't the case for this hot new star. After attending San Francisco State for a year, Daren decided to return home to pursue a career in acting. He began taking acting classes in Los Angeles and on his 5th audition was hand picked by show creator Brenda Thompson for the role of Ricky on ABC Family's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager." Well on his way to mega-stardom, Daren aspires to have a career similar to fellow young actor Emile Hirsch. The future definitely looks bright for this young Hollywood heartthrob!
