Dane Cook has broken the mold of typical comedians. He originally took up drama to help with his shyness and, by the looks of his super-successful career, the decision was a wise one. Honing his routine in bars and restaurants, Cook got his big break in 1998 after appearing on Comedy Central's Premium Blend and has been on a roll ever since.

On top of being one of Young Hollywood's favorite comedians, Dane also has a thriving acting career. He has appeared in movies such as Good Luck Chuck opposite Jessica Alba and Dan in Real Life with funny man Steve Carrell.

Moreover, his comedy CD's are a huge success having sold hundreds of thousands of copies and beating records set by veteran comedians. His second CD/DVD went double platinum and made Cook the first comic in twenty-nine years to have an album at #4 on the Billboard charts.
