Cory Monteith was born on May 11, 1982 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This Canadian cutie held a variety of odd jobs before becoming the actor we know and love today. He paid the bills by working as a Wal-Mart greeter, school bus driver, a roofer, and a cab driver. It was while Cory was working as a cab driver when one of his customers suggested he try a career in acting. He signed up for a few acting classes, fell in love with it and never looked back. He packed up his belongings and headed to Vancouver to really pursue his career.
Cory slowly worked his way to the top starring in several small-screeners to gain recognition. He made appearances in TV shows like "Smallville," "Young Blades," and "Supernatual." Cory then hit the big screen starring in a number of small film roles. In 2006, he played Kahill in the horror film, Final Destination 3, where a group of teens try to escape their fate of death. In 2007, he was cast as "Scooter Guy" in another scary thriller, White Noise 2: The Light. He can also be seen as Jimmy in the movie, The Invisible.
In addition to his incredible acting talent, Cory is also a talented singer and guitarist. With such musical talents, Cory was able to score the role of Finn in the Fox's hit series "Glee." This up and coming heartthrob has only just begun and will be a joy to watch as he continues to amaze us.
Cory enjoys playing video games and snowboarding in his free time.
