Born Cynthia Ann Crawford on February 20, 1966 in DeKalb, Illinois, she never knew that someday she would be the woman to make the her beauty mark a sex symbol! Cindy Crawford graduated from DeKalb High School in 1984 and was to attend Northwestern University to study chemical engineering. After only one quarter she dropped out to pursue her modeling career.
Crawford was the host of MTV's "House of Style" for six years and then, in 1995, she got her first role on the big screen in Fair Game. She has been on the cover of hundreds of magazines like Vogue and Cosmopolitan and was one of the most successful supermodels in the 80's and 90's. She was also the first modern supermodel to pose nude for Playboy magazine in July 1988.
