CHAD MICHAEL MURRAY

Chad Michael Murray was born on August 21, 1981, in Buffalo, New York. He loved being the center of attention and began performing in front of large audiences at a very young age. Chad started his career in acting after meeting a nurse during a hospital visit for a broken nose. The nurse, a former model, encouraged Chad to try modeling as well. After several attempts, he landed a Tommy Hilfiger campaign.

Chad got his first acting break in 1998, landing a role on the hit show "Dawson's Creek." He continued to put his name out there, making appearances on several other TV dramas. Chad also began landing roles in popular movies like Freaky Friday and A Cinderella Story, starring opposite teen superstars like Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff. However, Chad is most recognized for his role as Lucas Scott on The CW's hit show "One Tree Hill." Teens across the country fell fast for his sweet smile, charming sense of humor and of course his irresistible good looks. We know we will be seeing much more of Chad in the future and we can't wait to see what he does next!

FUN FACTS:

• He had his small intestine removed after a serious football injury in high school.

• Some of his first jobs include a newspaper delivery boy and a janitor at a local donut shop.
