CHACE CRAWFORD

Growing up in Dallas, Texas, Chace was the epitome of a Southern boy. Though he may be steaming up the airwaves on CW’s hot new show, "Gossip Girl," this superstar gig almost didn’t happen! Chace didn’t plan on becoming an actor but it seems fate had another thing in store for him! He moved to California to attend Pepperdine University and it was only after the urging of his mother that he decided to take up acting. Quickly signing with the first agency he interviewed with Chace soon landed his first role in the thriller, The Covenant. But it was his portrayal of preppy hunk Nate Archibald on "Gossip Girl" that catapulted him to heartthrob status! Lucky for us he took a chance on Hollywood and won! By the looks of things he’ll be flashing that stunning smile for a long time to come and, here at Young Hollywood, we'll have no problem keeping our eyes on him!

Fun Facts:

• After making it big on "Gossip Girl," he cancelled his Facebook and MySpace accounts.

• He shares an apartment in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood with "Gossip Girl" costar Ed Westwick, who plays his best friend on the show.

• His younger sister is Candice Crawford, title-holder of Miss Missouri USA 2008.
