From a very young age, Anton Yelchin knew exactly what he wanted to do. Born to a pair of professional figure skaters, Anton and his family emigrated to the United States when he was just 6 months old. Despite his parents' encouragement, Anton chose acting over figure skating. He began acting classes in Los Angeles and was eventually noticed by casting agents. At the age of 11, Anton shot to stardom when he landed the role of Bobby Garfield in Hearts in Atlantis starring opposite Anthony Hopkins. Over the next few years, Anton grew in popularity and was able to prove himself as an actor. He landed starring roles in major films like Charlie Bartlett, Alpha Dog, Star Trek and Terminator Salvation.
When he's not acting, Anton enjoys reading and playing chess. He also plays guitar and piano, writes his own music and performs in a band. We expect big things from this adorable young actor!
