Who’s That Lady? Minka Kelly is the all-American fantasy, the small town girl next door; the cheerleader dating the quarterback. Well, at least on NBC’s Friday Night Lights anyway. But she’s really the daughter of rock-n-roll royalty, following in the lineage of her grandfather - actor Richard Ney, who also happened to be married to Academy Award winning actress, Greer Garson (Mrs. Miniver in 1942).

Born in Los Angeles, Minka’s father is Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay. Yup, she and Liv Tyler could team up and do a buddy movie. By the way, if anybody uses that idea I’m suing for millions.

Why You Know Her: Besides her role at Lyla on Friday Night Lights, you’ve probably seen her play the role of Miss Ross in The Kingdom. She’s also appeared on What I Like About You, American Dreams, Drake & Josh, but she’s fairly new to the acting scene with her first credit on Cracking Up in 2004.

For a newcomer, she’s done well for herself - quickly gaining even more credits to her name. She just finished up filming on 500 Days of Summer with Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, which will be out next month on June 18th.

Rumor has it she’s dating NY Yankee short stop Derek Jeter right now, though she’s also been linked with Chris Evans and John Mayer. But you won’t see her splashed all over the tabs embroiled in drama over a celebrity ex. When asked about her former beau (John) hooking up with Jennifer Aniston, she told the press she was really happy for both of them.
